ANCHORING SYSTEMS

Spiral Anchors offer a permanent mooring system with no moving parts. Their ease of installation makes them cost competitive and once you have established your anchoring requirements they can be tailor made to suit any situation.

They are environmentally friendly both during and after installation, disturbing only 1 meter of seabed for a short period during installation.

CDC has currently installed over 8000 Spiral Anchors on various aquaculture farms. These marine farmers enjoy a large increase in productivity and 'peace of mind' during severe weather conditions. Spiral Anchors have also been used in the installation of 'floating jetties' and can be used to fix pipelines. This has allowed the use of Passive Earth Plate Spiral Anchors for omni direction pulls which occurs with swing moorings. For more information go to the Seaflex page.

CDC can re position (relocate) or extend your marine farm quickly and efficiently regardless whether anchored by concrete blocks or spiral anchors. We are capable of completing surface work when installing or relocating your farm, and as we are on site this 'backbone installation and float lashing' can be carried out cost effectively.
